Admin password for updates

Our business uses a cloud provider.  We have 2019 Premier desktop version.  I am Admin.

When QB released its last update, I could not login w/my usual Admin password -- our cloud provider set themselves up as Admin for the updates.   So now I am unable to install updates without paying our cloud provider to do them.

I'm confused about why there are two Admin passwords.  Is it possible for me to change the Admin password for updates?

Admin password for updates

Good day, @Amy Lynn

Thank you for reaching out to the Community.

In QuickBooks, we only set one credential user password. It seems that when you accessing your cloud provider, they created another password. I recommend reaching out to your 3rd party provider. They have the specific tools to look up your cloud account.

In the meantime, I've added article for your reference: What hosting providers are authorized by Intuit
