Cannot update payment info!!!

Hi there, djuddwood.

 

There are some reasons why you can't update the payment information. If the card is expired and the account number is invalid. And it was declined, with no other information provided by the processor.


I suggest logging in your QuickBooks account using a private browser to isolate some behavior for browser-related issues. Browsing privately disables the cache from saving your browsing data.

 

Use these keyboard shortcuts depending on the browser you're using:

 

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Internet Explorer: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

 

If you can update the billing information successfully, go back to your regular browser and clear the browser's cache to remove the log files and start with a clean slate.

 

If the steps above will not work, you can use supported browsers as alternatives.
