Re-certification exam not completed before due date

I got my original ProAdvisor certification on April 28, 2018, and I managed to let the July 31, 2019 due date for re-certification pass me by. There is a "get re-certified now" link on my profile, but it takes me to my completed training. I went through the modules that were added since my original certification, so it shows 100% complete. However, when I go to the exam section (assuming I needed to take the whole thing over again since I missed the deadline), it shows all of it as "Section PASSED" from my first attempt last April.


What now? How do I get my certification active again so that my profile appears publicly? Will completing the advanced training trigger the entire thing to go back up?

I can provide an update about the issue with the 2019 certification looping back to 2018 Core Exam results.


This is currently an ongoing issue with QuickBooks Online Accountant customers being unable to take the 2019 Core examinations. Our engineers are aware of this and are working to roll out a fix as soon as possible.


They confirmed that the 2019 QBO Core full exam is not yet available, and will be released to the training tab once it is available. This should be released later this year.


In order to be added to the notification loop, I would recommend contacting our Accountant Care Team. They have the tools to add your account to the list of affected users, and can help you with your Accountant profile and other certification questions. Have them add you to the investigation ticket  INV-34201.

I have been dealing with this issue since July and it still remains unresolved! Essentially, those of us who missed the recertification deadline and subtle extension have been stuck. When can we expect a solution?

Our engineers are doing their best and are working around the clock to fix the issue, Chief Butterfly.

Based on their latest updated, this should be released within the next three weeks. If you haven’t, you might want to reach out to our Accountant care team to add your details to the list of affected users.
