Hi, I followed the instructions and recorded a Deposit of the Vendor's check. However, when I went to the step of linking the deposit to the Bill Credit I cannot find the Deposit on that screen (Pay Bills screen). Is there a step I missed.
Let's review the deposit transaction. We need to make sure that we've selected the correct Vendor. Also, verify if the From Accountis an Accounts Payable. You can follow these steps on how to check it:
Go to Banking menu and select Make Deposits.
Close the Payments to Deposit window. Click the Previous button to locate the deposit you've made.
Update it if needed. Click Save & Close.
Another way to check it is through the register. From the Lists menu, select Chart of Accounts. Double-click on the account where you deposited it. Locate and right-click on the deposit transaction. Then, select Edit Deposit.

You can run the Open Balance report to make sure everything's good. From the Vendor Center, right-click on the vendor's name and select Open Balance.
