Join nowWe have three companies on QuickBooks Desktop that my employer wants to move to QuickBooks Online. I understand that we'll need a new subscription for each company, and that they can be linked to the same log in credentials. Will doing so allow for cross-reporting between the different companies?

You can export the reports to Excel and combine them from all of the different companies there. You can refer to this article as it has further information with exporting reports: Export your reports to Excel from QuickBooks Online.

If you have to open a new QBO account, make sure to click the Buy button to get the discounted price for up to 6 months. If you purchase from the trial account, you have to pay the regular rate.

You may export all reports to XLS and consolidate them as mentioned by Kendra H. Otherwise, consider having a 3rd party consolidating app.
Is this still true (that you can't run cross-company reports)? I'm hoping a new feature to allow for this has happened since this question was answered 3 years ago....
