Do not want Free trail

Hello there, @englishcamraman.

We're sad you don't want the free trial in QuickBooks Online.

Just to clarify, are you trying to cancel your free trial? If so, you can follow these steps I've laid out below:

  1. Sign in as an Admin to QuickBooks Online.
  2. Select the Gear icon, and choose Account and Settings.
  3. Click Billing and Subscription.
  4. In the QuickBooks section, select Cancel Trial.
  5. Select Continue to Cancel, then Continue to Cancel again.
  6. Finally, answer the exit survey questions (to help us make QuickBooks better), then scroll down and select Confirm Cancel.

Here's an article for more details: How to Cancel your Subscription.

If you change your mind, want to explore options or have any problems canceling, feel free to give us a call. We’re here to help you day and night.

We'll certainly welcome your business again in the future, and would be happy to answer any questions about how you might best use our product for the meantime.

You can always reach out to me if you need anything else. I'm here for you. Have a good one.

The answer above will likely lead to a screen that forces you to call QuickBooks to change your subscription. No doubt so a heavy-handed sales person can try to talk you out of it. I found this in another thread and it worked for me. https://www.firmofthefuture.com/content/update-on-the-quickbooks-online-advanced-free-upgrade-period....

I now have blessed relief from the neon on-screen banners and "try it" icons littered on my screen! I appreciate the fix, but shame on Intuit (again) for its heavy-handed and tone-deaf actions in pushing new "features" and "upgrades" on its loyal customers. QBO is an accounting program, but management and developers seem to think it's like FaceBook or Instagram and keep implementing unrequested changes without fixing longstanding bugs or implementing much-needed basic accounting functions. It's like the company is run by a 19 year old social media addict addicted to Candy Crush. Grow up Intuit and act like a professional business program!
