For now, I can't see any alert or open investigation about different amounts in between the mobile app and the web version Dashboards. If the amounts in the web version are incorrect, a possible browser issue might have caused QuickBooks to show a different figure.
Try logging in to your account in an incognito or private browsing session. Use these keyboard shortcuts to open an incognito session:
Then, check if you can already see the same amounts. You can also use any of the browser listed above.

When I open the mobile app to get a snapshot of the business too, and I look at my expense pie chart/circle graph, it's shows a lower number than when I look at it through the browser on my desktop. Also it includes different categories. The desktop has payroll included for instance, where the mobile doesn't account for it. Can anybody help? I can’t find the help and refresh option.

For now, I can't see any alert or open investigation about the differences with the result in dashboard expenses graph for mobile and browser.
What we can do is to uninstall and re-install the Mobile App to see if there's any changes.

Once done, we can now re-install the app.
