Join nowHi, I am not able to downgrade back to Plus . it is taking me to a popup screen call or chat. I had upgraded few days back to advanced in order to check the functionality of online backup but not happy so I am downgrading it. Strange so see when we want to upgrade it was easy but to downgrade it not easy though

When downgrading your account in QuickBooks Online, make sure to turn off the features that are available in the current plan. This can be the reason you're unable to downgrade.

If you've encountered unexpected issues, I'd recommend accessing your account on a private window and perform the process from there. This way, we can isolate if the problem has something to do with the stored cache files on your browser.

If it's successful go back to your regular browser and clear the cache to delete those temporarily stored files and browsing history. The cache files can often be corrupted and may lead to odd issues like the one that you've experienced.

As what BettyJaneB mentioned, there are "blockers" that prevent you from downgrading your plan. If you've already turned them off, there might be an Advanced feature that cannot be turned off easily.
In this case, the system will prompt you to call our support so they can turn it off for you. You can use the phone number or chat link on the popup screen.

neither the call nor the chat is enabled. both options are disabled. Help menu tried but not sure when chat agent will be able to chat.
