I cannot get into my account. How can I get rid of this Error

Hello Algene,

 

I can help you fix this error. It occurs when updating QuickBooks or downloading payroll updates. These are sometimes caused by misconfiguration of the Internet Explorer security settings, firewall, or system date and time settings. We can fix it by following either of these troubleshooting steps.

 

Solution 1: Run QuickBooks as Administrator

Right-click the QuickBooks icon on your Desktop, then select Run as Administrator.

 

Solution 2: Verify the system date and time settings

  1. Select the time display on your system, then Change date and time settings.
  2. Set the correct date and time.
  3. Select Apply, then OK.

Solution 3: Add Windows permission to QuickBooks installation folders

 

Solution 4: Verify the Internet Explorer Settings

  1. Select the Gear icon, then Internet Options.
  2. Go to the Advanced tab.
  3. Under Security, mark Use SSL 2.0 and Use SSL 3.0.
  4. Select Apply, then OK.

Solution 5: Check your third-party firewall

  1. Consult the developer of your third-party firewall for instructions on how to adjust the settings and allow QuickBooks to download and install updates.

  2. Ensure the following files are given access to go through your firewall: qbw32.exe (QuickBooks executable file) and qbupdate.exe (QuickBooks update executable file). 

  3. Verify that ports 80 and 443 are not disabled.
