Thanks for visiting the Community. I appreciate you for using our product and it's sad to know you decide to cancel your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.
QuickBooks is a do-it-yourself software that requires you to log in to manage your subscription. I can guide you through the cancelation process.
If this is a paid subscription signed up through the web, follow these steps below:
- In the Settings menu (gear icon), select Account and Settings.
- Proceed to the Billing and Subscription tab.
- Click the Cancel link beside your QuickBooks Online subscription status.
- Click Continue to cancel and indicate the reason for cancellation.
- Click Confirm Cancel.
If you've subscribed through the mobile apps, refer to the steps in this help article: Cancel a QuickBooks Online subscription purchased through an app store.
Once canceled, you'll still have read-only access to your account for a year after the cancellation date so you can get back to it whenever you need to resubscribe. I'd also suggest printing forms and reports you might need in the future.
