May I know the description of the charge? When  signing up for QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) free trial version, there's no need for you to enter your credit card information.

 

To check what's the charge amount for, it would be best to contact our Customer Support Team. They'll pull up your account in a secure environment and provide you detailed information on the credit card charges.

I was on a free trial and my credit card got charged for a month service?? I need to be credited back!

I've come to guide you on the actions you need to take care of your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) service charge, @lmckibben.

 

Based on your description of the issue above, it seems that you've submitted your credit card credentials that's why you're charged for a month of service. With this, there's a need to further check your account's subscription details. Since we're unable to do that here in the Community for security reasons, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care team. They can securely pull up and verify your account and process the necessary credits. Here's  how:

  1. Go to the Assistant menu.
  2. In the Type something... field, enter the keyword "Talk to a human" twice.
  3. Select your preferred support method. Please note that some options are only available at certain times. 

 

I've attached a screenshot below that shows the last step.

 

Additionally, you're able to review and update your billing and subscription info at any time in QBSE. If you wish to learn more about this, you can refer to this article: Update your QuickBooks Self-Employed billing and subscription.
