How can i go fix a check that was paid to 941 and was rejected because the password was wrong

Welcome and thanks for visiting the Community, @outlawwell. I can see the urgency to fix the check that was rejected due to an incorrect password.

First off, let's void that check by going to the Payroll Center in QuickBooks Desktop. Then, use the new login once you're ready to re-submit your payment. Here's how:

Voiding the check payment

  1. Go to the Employees menu, then choose the Payroll Center.
  2. From the Payroll Center, go to the Pay Liabilities tab.
  3. In the Payment History section, click the E-Payments tab.
  4. In the Status column, click the Agency Rejected link.
  5. In the E-payment Rejected window, review the payment information sent by the agency.
  6. Click Void Rejected E-payment.

Once done, follow these steps to re-submit your payment:

  1. Click the Employees menu, then click the Payroll Center.
  2. In the Payroll Center, go to the Pay Liabilities tab.
  3. In the Pay Taxes & Other Liabilities, select the payroll tax liability (941) that you are paying.
  4. Click the View/Pay button, and then click the E-pay button.
  5. Clear the Remember my information for the next time box, then update your login information as necessary.
  6. Select the Remember my information for the next time box again to save the new information.
  7. Click Submit.
