How do I add a general ledger account

Good day, rgcaseretired.

 

I'll walk you through the steps on how to add an account in your general ledger. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Accounting menu and select Chart of Accounts.
  2. Click New in the upper-right hand corner.
  3. Select the Account and Detail Type
  4. Enter the name of the account, number, and balance if applicable.
  5. Click Save and close
