If you're subscribed to one, here's how you can update the language:

  1. Click the Gear icon.
  2. Choose Account and Settings.
  3. Go to the Advanced tab.
  4. Click the Pencil icon in the Language row.
  5. Choose the language.
  6. Click Save, then Done

Our supported languages are Chinese, English, French, Italian, and Spanish

Thank you for the response, @spencerhansen70!

Let's go and sign you up for your new international account. Allow me to help you accomplish this.

To start, creating a new account outside the US lets you sign up for your new international account. And then, follow the screen prompts to successfully create your account.

You can start by clicking this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/choose-country/. Please know that QuickBooks recognizes and uses a universal log in credentials.

Feel free to leave a comment below if you have any other questions about QuickBooks Online. I'm always around to help.

Thanks, but I am using Desktop Pro, so it doesn't work for me. So I want to know where to buy the Desktop Pro International version.

How do I change language

Allow me to step in, emondora.

QuickBooks Desktop uses the system language settings and is designed to work with English.

Know that we're always looking for ways to make the software better for all users. So I'll prepare a feedback statement directly to our product developers. From there, they'll be able to review and may consider this in future updates.

To stay current on all the QuickBooks news and announcements, I encourage visiting our blogs through these links:

I'll also update you in this thread if I hear any changes.

Please let me know if you need anything else. I'm always here to lend a hand. Take care.

Thanks for you recommendation.  I asked Quickbooks Support and other people, still no luck.  Seems like after windows 1083 update, windows doesn't really work with Quickbooks.   Yes please let me know if you have any good news

How do I change language

I changed language into Chinese, it works. However, when I go back to Account and Setting ( in Chinese), only available Tab is Company , Billings and Subscription, there is no Tab Advanced, I can no longer switch back to language English. Appreciated if anyone can help me.

Thanks for joining this thread, Karen.

I'll share some troubleshooting steps about changing languages in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

I suggest performing the steps through a private/incognito window. The private window will not save any history, making it a good place to identify browser problems. You can refer to these shortcut keys to open a private browser:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

Once you're in incognito mode, navigate to Accounts and settings and change the language back to English. If you can change it using a private browser, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. Clearing the cache or cookies is the best way to get a clean slate for your browser. Otherwise, using other supported browsers can be a good alternative too.

However, if the issue persists, I recommend reaching out to our Technical Support Team to report this issue. They have the tools to look into your account securely and can do further investigation into this behavior.

In addition, I'm attaching this link that can efficiently guide you in supervising your account: Help Articles for QuickBooks Online.

I'm just a post away if you have other concerns about changing languages in QBO. Take care, and have a great day!
