Hi there, peace2all.

QuickBooks requires you to create and update your password if you've set up any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) in your company file. This includes Social Security Number (SSN), company EIN and company credit card account numbers.

You can check here to see the specific lists of the PII. If you're not having one of these, QuickBooks will automatically disable to update your password.

If you have them set up,  we have a workaround on how you can stay logged in to your QuickBooks. This will let you sign in to your company file without entering your password. Please take note that you'll need to update the date once  the login period set expired.

I'll be right here in case you need more help with QuickBooks Desktop.
