How do I update my checking account balance to include the entire year? Currently it is just starting in May.

Welcome to the Community forum, @blcrumley.

 

To have complete data of your bank account, you can import bank transactions in QuickBooks Online. 

 

To get started, you'll need to download bank transactions from your bank account and review the file format and size. 

 

Once ready, to manually upload your data, here's what you'll need to do:

  1. In the left menu, click Banking
  2. Go to the Banking tab. 
  3. Choose the blue tile for the account you want to upload the transactions into.
  4. Select the small arrow ▼ icon by the Update button.
  5. Follow the onscreen steps. 
  6. Choose File upload.
