I got a Student subscription but I used the last semester with a project so I had the information for one company already, I need to delete this company information, how?

I have to work on a new project this semester but I can't because I need to eliminate the old company used and I don't know how to do it.

Welcome to the Community, tavitored.

In QBO, you can only have one company per subscription. If it’s already beyond 60 days, we’re unable to delete the information. Check out this article for more information: Delete your data and start over in QuickBooks Online.

To start a new project, I suggest creating a second QuickBooks Online for Students account. I can help show the steps for you.

  1. In your browser, enter this link: Intuit Education.
  2. Click the For Students button and enter your personal information.
  3. Hit Verify and Continue.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

Once your account is verified, you'll get a free license for the online program. For more information about the process, see the following guide: Register and activate a QuickBooks Online student trial.

I’ve included a link that contains resources to help get acclimated to the product’s features and processes: Get Started.

Hey there again, @tavitored.

Have you tried performing the steps I shared on how to get another QBO Student account? I’m here to make sure you’re able to create a new project.

Don’t hesitate to get back on this thread if you have additional questions. I’ll be glad to lend a helping hand. Have a great day ahead.
