Re: I have 2 separate log ins for Chase cards. how do I connect both accounts?

Hi serendipityfarms,

Let me provide you some information and guide you about connecting Chase cards with separate logins. You'll want to check with your bank first if the transactions will download to the individual accounts or one account.

You'll want to connect only the parent account if the transactions download to one account. And connect the subaccounts if the transactions download to the individual accounts. Here's how to connect an account.

  1. Click Banking, then Banking at the top.
  2. Click Connect or Add account.
  3. Search for your bank. Then, click Continue.
  4. Click Connect.

Please check these handy articles for more information about:

I've also added our article about how to reconcile accounts if you need further help in reconciling accounts.

Drop a comment below if you have other questions. I'd be sure to swing by anytime soon.

Hello, serendipityfarms.

There are several reasons why you're unable to connect your bank to QuickBooks.

  • Many banks have multiple names on our list.
  • The bank may not connect to all types of accounts.
  • The bank may not be a participating financial institution.

To fix this, let's start by checking the link you've used to make sure it's correct. Let’s go directly to your bank’s website to copy the URL and paste it on the Enter your bank name or URL search box.

You can read through this article for more details: Connect bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Online.

If you need to manually import your bank transactions, you can check out this article for the detailed steps: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

I'll be here to lend you a hand if you need more help with connecting your accounts in QuickBooks. Have a great rest of your day.
