The Intuit and QuickBooks accounts are linked to each other. With that being said, removing your QuickBooks will remove your intuit account as well.

Not sure that answers the question. My wife is the self-employed one and the one who uses QB. I file the taxes so it's all in my name. Right now she is paying for QB and it doesn't work that well because all the categories QB assigns things are different than the categories in TurboTax. Crazy, but true.
How do I use my login to gain the free access that we are entitled to so we don't have to pay for QB this year? Also, I need the QB access to be in my wife's name. Make sense?

Since your wife's information is the one registered in QuickBooks Self-Employed account, therefore her user access is linked to our data system. However, our chat and call support for QBSE can update her account's information.
