I would like to run a report on same type expenses to see what exactly I’m paying for the month for this particular expense. How do i go about doing that?

Thanks for reaching out to the Community for support. I hope you're enjoying the day so far. I'm happy to lend a hand with building the right report for you. 

 

I recommend running the Expenses by Vendor Summary report. You can customize this report by Date, Cash, Accrual, Total, Vendor, Etc. Let me show you how to run the report below. 

 

  1. Open the Reports menu. 
  2. In the search bar, enter Expenses by Vendor.
  3. To customize the report, click on Customize in the top right corner. 

 

That's all there is to it. Feel free to check out Customize reports in QuickBooks Online for more details about customizing reports.
