Thanks for reaching out to the Community, annalisa-verones.

When running an Inventory Valuation Detail report, you can enter a Report period. Your QTY data will be pulled for the date range you've entered.

On your Products and Services page, the QTY ON HAND is current and up-to-date. This is why both areas can show different information.

Dear ZackE,

I selected All Dates to filter the Inventory Valuation Details report and exported the result to xls.

So I expected to find the same stock I see in the Products and Services section on quantities on hand ...

Can you explain why I find differences on almost all items instead?

Hello there, @annalisa-verones.

You can try viewing your Inventory Valuation Detail report using a private browser or incognito browser. This way, we can isolate this unexpected report-behavior for possible a browser-related issue. You can use either of these keyboard shortcuts:

  •  For Google Chrome browser: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • For Mozilla Firefox browser: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • For Safari browser: Command + Option + P

Once logged in, you can try generating your inventory valuation detail report again.

On the other hand, you may have a recurring transaction that may have caused the difference with the quantity on hand. Also, you can check for any returned transaction or inventory quantity adjustments that affect the quantity-on-hand of your inventory items.
