Depending on your subscription, QuickBooks can give its users a one-year read-only access to their data files after cancelation. However, QuickBooks Self-Employed accounts are immediately locked out after the cancellation is confirmed.
I can see that you've already reached out to our QuickBooks Online support. However, it would be best to contact directly our QuickBooks Self-Employed specialist. This way, they can provide you a temporary access to your account so you can download your data out of the program.
