Manage Users - Accounting Firms

Hello QB Community! 

 

I have QBO and I have a new bookkeeper whom I don't know and lives overseas.  He has requested to have Admin level usage opposed to Standard user, and my board denied that request as he will have too much access to potential $$.

 

If I add him as an "Accounting firm" doe that give him access too?  

 

Of course my principle concern is all of a sudden he has access to funds in some strange way and I did not know it!   I would be in BIG BIG BIG trouble!!!  HUGE!!!

Manage Users - Accounting Firms

You may ask them to access your account as Accountant by using QBO US Accountant version. Then you may consider the following options:

1. Disconnect your bank feeds and only import bank transactions manually

2. If your bookkeeper is responsible for recording Billing transactions, open a separate Melio account to take advantage of the bill payment approval feature.
