Buy nowHi,
We are planning to migrate from QB desktop to QB online. But as i had researched, you need the administrator credentials to successfully migrate the Account. The Administrator already resigned and her company email that was used in the QB is no longer working. Can you give some thoughts on how we can go about it?
Does this mean you can't reset your Admin password because Intuit server send all notification to that email address?
You're correct that admin access is needed to migrate data from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online, KMV_1991.
Since the previous admin's email is no longer working, you can enter a request to be the new Primary admin.
To start, make sure to gather all documents needed for the request. This typically includes a photo ID, a signed letter of permission from the owner, and official business documents like articles of organization.
The exact requirements, however, can vary depending on your business entity. For a complete list of what you'll need to submit the form, please refer to this article: Request to be the primary admin or contact.
Once everything is complete, follow these steps on how to send the request:
After that, our backend team will review your case as soon as possible. Once the review is complete, you’ll receive an update via email with the status of your request.
You just need to wait for an email from no_response@intuit.com. Aside from that, you can check the status of your request at any time.
We are always here if you need anything else.
If you need a quick solution, you can purchase a 3rd party service to reset the Admin password. You can contact @Fiat Lux - ASIA directly via email for assistance. Then after converting your data to QBO, you can use the trial version of Desktop Enterprise to access your historical data anytime if required.
