Multi user is not working properly

Greetings, @OGC1.

I'd like to help and address your concern. Can you specify what issue you're having when in the multi-user? Additional details are much appreciated.

In the meantime, let's create a sample company file and access your multi-user from there. This way, we can check if the issue you're having with is caused by data problems in your company file.

In your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT):

  1. Go to the File menu.
  2. Select New company.
  3. Click Express Start.
  4. Follow the onscreen steps to finish the setup.

Here's an article you can read for more details: Create a QuickBooks Desktop Company File.

If there is no issue with multi-user in your sample company file, then, we'll need to run the Verify and Rebuild Data tools. This will resolve the minor data issue in your company file.

However, if the issue persists, I recommend running a clean install. A clean install fixes issues in your company file.
