My bank started using two factor authentication, now my QBO banking has errors. It dropped 50 transactions from September, now it just spins the wheel and never updates.

I have tried updating the login information, de-activating and re-connecting the account in the register, and using multiple browsers. QBO staff responded to my queries by saying 'you need to enter the code for authetication'--this isn't the problem, the problem is that I am getting two kinds of errors even though I am doing this. First, random transactions are being dropped while it is disconnected that I have to enter manually, and second, (this just started today), my QBO bank account will no longer update, and just has a spinning wheel. Very frustrating!

To clarify. You "disconnected on close" the account that was connected to QBO, correct? I recommend doing this and then logging into your online bank website, then reconnecting the account. You may also need to allow third-party access via your online bank website. It is common for bank feeds to disconnect when there are changes due to new security measures by the bank.
