Join nowGood afternoon, lisa109.
I'd be happy to help you figure out why your reconciliation reports are printing blank.
First things first, I'd like you to try printing any other document from the app, anything at all. If the issue is still happening, I'd suggest checking with the producer of the printer or an IT expert for the brand.
If that wasn't the issue, you'll want to make sure that your Adobe Reader/Acrobat is up-to-date. The older versions can sometimes cause printing issues with QuickBooks. This guide will help you figure out how to: Update, repair, or re-install Adobe Reader/Acrobat.
Following these few steps will resolve any printing issues you're experiencing. If you need further assistance, you can reach back out here.
Have a wonderful afternoon.
Thanks for the recommendations. I am able to print other docs: invoices, reports, pay stubs, etc. I don't use Acrobat. I use Bluebeam as a .pdf program. This problem is recent (end of January). It is only the reconciliation report. I use the print icon, which brings up the report print view and a print dialogue box on top of it. The print view is empty - completely blank. The print dialogue box works, and I can print the page... the blank page.
This is true for multiple accounts that I work on. The problem appears to be inside of QB online app. It is not the reader or the printer.
I have read other similar issues, and did not see any that were resolved. Will check those posts again.
Other suggestions?
This is my first post. It is not obvious how to continue this discussion 'here'. But I guess I figured that out.
Thanks for providing all the steps you've tried so far, @lisa109.
You are correct. The problem does lie within the QuickBooks Online App, and our Engineers are investigating this issue to understand the unexpected behavior better. They've created a ticket (INV-41724) that allows customers, like you, to get email updates until this issue is resolved. To get added to the ticket, you can request a callback from our QuickBooks Online Support Team. However, with the workaround provided, you can also open the program in a web browser like Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc. and print the report from there.
Please don't hesitate to touch base with me here if you need any additional assistance. I look forward to hearing from you again.
