RE Reports Center: I see info notice "Your reports may not display correctly if ..." How do I turn off information notices once read the 1st time?

I updated Chrome and don't want to continue seeing "Your reports may not display correctly if you're using an outdated version of Google Chrome" - I updated after I saw it the first time.

RE Reports Center: I see info notice "Your reports may not display correctly if ..." How do I turn off information notices once read the 1st time?

I'm glad to have you here, Colleen.

Currently, the only option to remove the prompt message "Your reports may not display correctly if you're using an outdated version of Google Chrome" is to click the "X" icon in the upper right corner of the message shown.

However, when you move to another page and return to the report center, it'll still show up since this is only a warning message and doesn't mean your reports have a system issue.

On top of that, I appreciate you for updating your Google Chrome to remove this warning message.

In the meantime, you can perform some basic troubleshooting steps to identify why the message is still showing even after updating is an issue to your browser. Let's begin by logging in your account to a non-Google Chrome browser.

Check out these shortcut keys:

  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

Then, access the reports center. Once it works, let's clear the cache of your default browser to remove piled-up data. If the issue persists, utilize another supported browser or device. It might be that the current one you're using has a temporary issue with the program.

If the same issue happens, you can contact the QuickBooks Online (QBO) Care Team to provide you with the best course of action for this.

You might want to learn how to filter out your reports to show the necessary details. Check out this article: Customize reports in QuickBooks Online.

I'm always here if you have additional questions about errors and prompt messages while utilizing QuickBooks Online (QBO). Take care, and have a good day.

I use the QB Online desktop app because the web version times me out and I lose my work - another crappy thing about QBO.

I just "performed your basic troubleshooting" and cleared all browsing data and closed browser.

Also, closed OBO desktop app and reopened and message ("Your reports may not display correctly ....) is still there.
