Hi kraghava06,

This isn't the kind of impression we'd like you to have. If you're referring to the new column in the Profit and Loss report, our product developers added so that you'll only have to run one report to compare current financials to the previous year-to-date. We are continually working on improving the software and make it work the way your business needs.

If you're referring to the "From date" design in the Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet, we have an open investigation for that issue. Our developers are working hard to fix this issue as soon as possible. I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care Team to add your account details to list of affected users.

You can follow these steps:

  1. Select Help (?) at the top right.
  2. Click the Contact Us button.
  3. Enter a brief description of your concern.
  4. Hit Let's talk.
  5. Select Get a callback or Start a chat.

You refer to my screenshot below:

Help.png

In the meantime, we can click on the values of the Profit and Loss to load a transaction report that has the full year.

Here's how:

  1. Select Reports from the sidebar menu.
  2. Search Profit and Loss.
  3. Select the appropriate report period.
  4. After getting all the month long values, you can click the value to load a full year transaction report.

I've included an article that will help you in managing your reports: Customize your reports in QBO.

Please know that our doors are always open to help you with any QuickBooks-related concern.

Please ask them to fix it please. It is broken. It was working great all these years but some thing was done to disturb all reports. This is a major issue. Please escalate it please. This is year-end and we run the reports a lot of times. It is annoying.
