My first thought is that export from online to desktop is supposed to be to a supported version of desktop. 2015 is 2 years past support. If you ate going to use desktop on a regular basis you really need to upgrade to a newer version. What you can do to see if this is the issue, is download a free trial of QBDT 2020 and run your export to it. If your data is now there I. QB 2020 that is the problem solved.
