To clarify with the Service provider regarding logging and monitoring activities. To check if admin panel, settings is in the App.

Hi QB Team,

I want to clarify regarding logging and monitoring activities. To check if admin panel, settings is in the App.

Is it possible to log changes, whether the person responsible for changing the document/postings/settings?

Because as for now, when I create invoices/expenses/journal entries, or change this entries, information about this actions/changes is not visible (who and when created/changed).

QuickBooks keeps track of your activities in the audit log. When reviewing its data, you can see who's made changes to your books and what they did. It's accessible by admin users while using a web browser.

Here's how it's used:

  1. Use the Gear (⚙️) icon, then choose Audit Log.
  2. Click Filter.
  3. Utilize your fields on the filter panel to pick an appropriate User, Date, or Events option. This narrows your results.
  4. Select Apply.

I can certainly understand how this could be a useful feature in our desktop/mobile apps and have submitted a suggestion about it to our developers as of today. This ensures that it will be considered in future updates.

I've included a useful resource where you'll be able to find more details about using your audit log: Audit log overview

Please feel welcome to send a reply if there's any question. Have a great day!
