I've reactivated my payroll subscription after it was deactivated....AFTER QB help told me my account was active and paid in full. I've had to go to each of my 37 clients QB and reactivate my subscription even though the status states ACTIVE... but QB still will not figure any payroll taxes...and every time I log out..log in..restart computer, run update payroll 2 or 3 times...it still will not process payroll. and of course, the 24 hour help desk cannot help me. I have to wait til
9 am tomorrow EST for a call back...and I will be at my other job. Any other suggestions on how to get my account to start processing payroll ?

This process will unsave the data you've entered before reactivating your account and downloading the tax table update. After that, re-enter the payroll items to check if taxes are now deducting.

i was charged February 27, 2020 automatic renewal of $693.88. last week payroll did not take out taxes, now what a mess!!! i have tried everything give to me to make taxes taken out it will not work!

This may be a little deeper than what it may seem since the steps above didn't work. We'll have to delete the Paysub.ini file. This is one of the application files and once it's damaged, then it can cause some issues with your Payroll. I am having a similar issue! My subscription was renewed, has a date of 2021 for the next renewal and I am still getting an error in Enterprise telling me to renew my payroll. I have followed every help file I can find to no avail, even ran the file doctor. So frustrated with QB!!!! I have 5 employees waiting on me to fix this issue so they can continue with their work day.

They have more advanced tools to look further into your account to see why this is occurring in your QuickBooks Desktop.

As of now I think my tech support firm has the issue fixed. I only call support as a last ditch effort as I don't need to have a script read to me by a tech in India or some other country. As a business owner my time is precious and I cannot afford to spend hours getting directed to "the next level" of support. Thank you for responding
Still having problems. and now it won't even come back at all.
I've reactivated all my clients, the long way. I spent 3 days on the help line - shutting off firewalls, changing, deleting, reloading, and more. My quickbooks will NOT update payroll tax tables, will NOT submit direct deposits, Will NOT submit any Forms for quarterlys. Right now my quickbooks is just basically a desk top ledger.
I did an online Chat with a fellow and he was Finally able to resolve the issue. but it only lasted about a week.
Then all of a sudden I received a message as I was processing payroll, stating that my quickbooks issues have been resolved and I needed to restart. Finished what I was doing and restarted and I AM Dead in the water -- again. I have had my own IT in and they cannot find the problem. I am constantly told it is with my internet, but I can do everything else on my internet - pay taxes on EFTPS, ETIDES, send emails, etc.
Just nothing with QB. and Citrix receiver went down with all of this as well.
Now I am right back where I was before, nothing, can't even hit the F1 button for the help thru my QB program. I don't know if it has to do with QB, or Microsoft, but it is NOT a nice place to be - especially quarterly time AND all the changes with this massive business layoffs, etc.
I am basically dead in the water.
Look, I understand it is not all you wonderful people trying to help. The girls that tried to help me during the 3 day stint before were awesome, as you all are. But this has added 100 x's work for me and I used to LOVE QB. It did everything I needed and more.
I'm in a total loss right now. I have a laptop that, for now is working, but until I can get all my files coordinated with using the laptop, it is a nightmare.

I'll make sure that this issue is taken care of. It may have something to do with Citrix receiver. First, you can install QuickBooks on your local drive and then create a company back-up file (once you're connected with your Citrix receiver).
Once, QuickBooks is installed in your local drive, and your back-up file is ready, restore your company file in Quickbooks installed in your local drive.
This is to check if it has to be with ISP or QuickBooks related issues.
If the issue persists, I recommend to check it with our Care Support Team. They have tools that can help you check the cause of the account's issue.
