Recover a deleted report

Thanks for visiting the Community today, @NAREB. As an insight, we are unable to recover deleted reports in QuickBooks Online.

Though, we can use the Audit log feature to search and confirm if the report is deleted. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Settings menu.
  2. Select Audit log
  3. Locate and review the status of the item in the Event column.

From there, you'll know if the item is deleted. Since we're unable to restore it, I'd recommend recreating them.

If you're unable to find the report, that means it isn't deleted. We can find the report from the Custom Reports page. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Reports menu.
  2. Select Custom Reports.
  3. You'll see a list of all memorized or group of memorized reports.

For additional reference, check out this article: How to find, run, export to excel, and edit/delete a memorized report.

You can also read through this article: Use the audit log to re-enter deleted transactions. It helps you learn about how to locate and recreate deleted transactions in case you'll need to in the future.

I'd be happy to answer your next post, @NAREB. Just feel free to visit us again here in the Community.
