I am looking to export to excel a report exactly like the 'Sales by Item Summary" report except instead of the 'qty' showing how many were shipped I want to see how many were ordered regardless of invoice status.

Thanks but not really what I asked. I am asking if there is a way I can see the quantity ordered per part not the quantity shipped or invoiced. Lets say that 10 pieces of a part was ordered by a customer. Lets say that 6 were invoiced and shipped. Currently the sales by item summary shows the quantity invoiced and shipped, 6, but I want to see the quantity ordered, 10. Thanks!
Thanks for coming back, AndrewCU.

Not at all what I am asking. I am asking if there is a way to view by part the total number of units ordered. If customer A has ordered 500 units in the last year but only 200 have been shipped I want to see a report showing 500 units. All of the reports I find on QuickBooks show 200.
