Restrict access to Quickbooks online to office only

Right now, QuickBooks Online doesn’t restrict employees from accessing the account outside the office. I suggest sending us your feedback. That way, our engineering team can consider your request. Just click on the Gear icon at the top right corner and then select Feedback.

You can track feature requests through the QuickBooks Online Feature Requests website.

I haven't subscribed to QB Online yet. I just wanted to know first if my employees will have access to my company file while they're not in the office. I don't want them to be showing my company data to everyone. Thanks for the reply.

In QuickBooks Online, as long as your employee has user access rights (Company Admin or Regular), they can view your company file outside the office.

You need to be able to trust the staff who work on the books IMO.  Blocking them from accessing the books from out of the office won't stop them from verbally telling everyone what they see while in the office.   You can always place surveillance equipment in their home (just kidding, I don't think that's a good idea)
