Sales tax report has changed, and no longer displays accurate gross sales and taxable sales. The old one was simple. Not sure why they changed it... Any insights?

I finally found a support person who dug in (his name is Lance, and he was great) and found out there is a glitch where unchecked sales tax boxes are not tallied in the gross. But even after fixing that, I'm still not able to get an accurate gross sales and taxable sales number. I can't even see where there's a total..

Thanks for sharing this sales tax report concern here in the Community, @billhaw.

I'd like to ensure that this matter will be taken care of so the gross sales and taxable sales numbers will be accurate on the report.

In this case, I'd suggest reaching out to our Customer Care Team again. They have the tools that can review your transactions and help isolate the possible reasons for this hurdle.

  3. Enter a brief description of the issue in the What can we help you with? box.
  4. Press on Let's talk.
  5. Select on Get a callback.

This still has not been fixed. Your support person told me last week there is a known issue, and I'm still not seeing that anything has changed. I can't be the only person having a problem with this. All I need are accurate GROSS INCOME and TAXABLE INCOME numbers for each month, just like you provided for the last 10 years I have been using QBO. Why is this so hard? How can I get those specific numbers. Calling support is NOT working...
