Scam call regarding renewing subscription

We own two different companies, yesterday they called our hardware company and left a message in regards to updating our interface subscription to utilize the invoicing, payment, reports, etc within quickbooks. They had emailed us the form that did not come from a quickbooks address, it came from right-subscription address needing our signature and payment info. When my husband opened the email from his personal phone the document was not available. We did notify intuit, they are looking into this matter. Last month we had a call in regards to other quickbooks account for our construction company, they had remotely connected and installed update files and reminded us that our subscription to utilize the invoicing and report feature in quickbooks needed to be renewed an wanted a payment of $600. After today's call, I'm wondering if I need to get IT to look into our system to make sure malicious software or programs were not installed by a hacker. Has anyone else been contacted by quickbooks to remotely connect and update files? I'm not liking the new support

Scam call regarding renewing subscription

Good evening, brw907.

Thank you so much for reaching out to the QuickBooks Community. We take fraud very seriously and have zero tolerance for it.

If you haven't already, please go ahead and report the email at the following link: Intuit Online Security Center

Please note: You will never receive a call from QuickBooks support unless its part of the "Call me Back" feature.

Again, thank you and have a wonderful night.
