So I need to pay for my subscription but I had two customers that had invoices that they needed to pay and I'm not sure if the money is on my card or if they can pay it.

I was going to use the money that they paid for the work that was done and pay the subscription fee but I don't know if they have a way to pay it now with the account being inactive or what I need to do to get my money from them so I can pay the subscription fee

Hi there, John. Let me clarify some things about your subscription.

Paying into an inactive QuickBooks Online (QBO) account can be challenging, as the functionalities within such an account are generally limited or unavailable until it is reactivated. We can check with your customers to confirm whether they have already paid their invoices. If they have, make sure the payment is reflected in the account you use to receive payments.

To reactivate your account, we'll need to update your payment method. Follow these steps how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Under Profile, select Subscription and Billing.
  3. Go to Payment method and choose Edit ✎. Here, you can:
    • Change how you pay for QuickBooks Online. Update your credit card expiration, billing address, or account name.
    • Add a new payment method for QuickBooks Online billing.
    • Switch QuickBooks Online billing to a payment method used before.

If the invoices haven't been paid yet, ask your customers to make the payment as soon as possible and ensure you communicate the payment methods available (bank transfer, credit card, etc.) and provide them with the necessary details to make the payment.

For more information on how to receive payments from your customers, please check out this link.

Let me know if you still have other concerns about your subscription payment. Have a great day, and take care always.
