The option to CLEAR transactions in registers is missing.

I have been clearing bank transactions on a daily basis, and today the option is not available.  No settings have been changed.  Any ideas?

The option to CLEAR transactions in registers is missing.

It's nice to see you here in the Community space, @Kristi00. I'm here to provide you some details on how to isolate the issue.

You can perform some basic browser troubleshooting to improve and speed up your browser's performance. Cookies and caches may prevent you from accessing some features in your account.
 

Here's how:
 

  1. Restart your browser.
  2. Log in to your QuickBooks account in an incognito or private browser and try to see if the Clear option is available. You can use these keyboard shortcuts to launch a new private window:

    Google Chrome: press Ctrl Shift 
    Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl Shift P
    Safari: press Command Shift N
     
  3. If it works, you can return to your regular browser and clear your browser's cache. Then you may see if the option is available and get started on the tasks at hand.

 

If the problem persists, I'd like to request a screenshot from you so that we can investigate why you don't have the option to Clear (C). This way, I can provide you with a resolution that fits your situation.

The option to CLEAR transactions in registers is missing.

Thank you for your help.  I ended up contacting support and was told that QBO has an ongoing investigation about the manual reconcile box being grayed out/disabled. So, at this point I understand it is a software issue not an operator issue.
