Hi there,
Time cards not importing to your QBDT is usually caused by the connection between your QBDT and Web Connector. I'm here to assist you in troubleshooting this integration so you can seamlessly continue importing your time cards into QBDT.
First, let's ensure your QBDT and Web Connector is updated to its latest version. You can check these links to download the latest version of Web Connector and QBDT:
After updating them, let's proceed to sync your QB Time data to QBDT manually. Before syncing, ensure that your timesheets in QB Time is already approved. Then, let's now sync your data. Here's how:
- Sign in to QuickBooks Time as the admin.
- Open QuickBooks Desktop as the admin and in single-user mode and the Web Connector on the same computer.
- In QuickBooks Desktop, select File, then App Management, and select Update Web Services. The Web Connector will open.
- Select the appropriate company file, and choose Update Selected.
Please take note of the following to understand how data syncs between QBDT and QB Time:
- You can sync data each time you update info in QuickBooks Desktop that needs to be updated in QuickBooks Time.
- When you sync data in the Web Connector, it both imports data and exports hours if there are new approved timesheets.
- We don’t recommend using the Auto-Run feature in the Web Connector. If it’s necessary, set the frequency to 60 minutes or greater.
Furthermore, you can also consider editing your data after sync. You can make changes to a customer or job and edit time in QB Time.
Let me know if you have additional concerns besides importing your timecards to QBDT. I'm always here to help.
