Tried to set up the login information for a Standard User on Ipad. Picked new account, input info. and skipped the 6 digit code made a new account in error. Need to fix?

Need to add to existing QB account how to correct.

Do you mean you've accidentally created a new account instead of adding a Standard user in QuickBooks Online (QBO)? If so, you can cancel the newly created account by following the instructions below:

 

  1. Click the Gear icon.
  2. Choose Account and Settings.
  3. Select Billing & Subscription.
  4. In the QuickBooks section, click the Cancel link.
  5. Click Continue to cancel to completely close your account.

Once done, you can start adding the Standard user to your existing account. I'll show you how below:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon and choose Manage Users.
  2. Click the Add user button.
  3. Select Standard user and hit Next.
  4. Choose the corresponding access rights and click Next.
  5. Follow the onscreen instructions, then Save.
