Before disconnecting your bank account, make sure you match or delete all of the downloaded transactions for the account. QuickBooks won’t let you make changes if there are still pending transactions.

I have tried this already. It appears Regions has updated their password requirements and Quickbooks is behind. I spoke to someone last night with QB who suggested I call Regions and ask them to make an exception for me (roll eyes).

Once done, let's reconnect your Regions Bank. You can follow the same steps shared above on how to reconnect it.
You can also use the Web Connect feature. It's a different way to bring in your bank transactions by importing a webconnect (.qbo) file into your company file. You can log in to your bank's website to get a copy of it. Then, follow the steps in this article on how to it: Import web connect (.qbo) files.

Since you've mentioned you have five different accounts, were you able to disconnect all of them? If not, I'd recommend doing this, prior to reconnecting them one by one. Please refer to the steps provided above.
If the same thing will happen, it would be best to report this to our Support Team. They'll be able to create an investigation where our engineers can participate and help.

I have disconnected all of them. The issue is with Quickbooks. Quickbooks is not up to date with Regions new password protocol. Regions did not previously allow non alpha characters and they now do require them. Quickbooks still believes that Regions does not allow them. Once Quickbooks provides an update to address this issue I will be back on track. Until then it seems I will have to do it the hard way.

Since QuickBooks Desktop hasn't updated to accommodate your bank's new password feature, I recommend using our Web Connect feature. It's a different way to bring in your bank transactions by importing a web connect (.qbo) file into your company file. You can log in to your bank's website to get a copy of it. Then, follow the steps below:
Now you can view your bank transactions within QuickBooks.

This is impacting more customers. I am not sure why the update is not occurring with Quickbooks? It seems the bank has done what they need to do and it seems like a checkbox in a permission to allow the special characters. This is the primary feature I use for my Quickbooks. Please advise. Bank has been contacted.
