I have tried to update my email and phone number in account settings with no luck

Hi there

 

I'm trying to add the company phone number (which is a mobile number) in contact info under settings, but when I enter this I get an error message saying "please make a valid entry" Can you please tell me how I can enter the mobile number so it appears on all of our invoices etc?

Thanks for reaching out to us. I’m here to share some information about the error message you receive when adding the company phone number in QuickBooks Online. 


There are several reports from other users like you with a similar issue. Our Product Team knows and is working to get this problem corrected as quickly as possible.


In the meantime, please give our Customer Care Team a call to add your account to the list of affected users. An email will be sent to you with any new information to assure you’re up to date with the progress of the investigation. 

 

Here’s how to contact phone support:

  1. Sign in to your QBO account.
  2. Go to Help at the top right.
  3. Click Contact Us to connect with a live agent.

As a workaround, add the country code, then a space before the phone number in order to save it successfully (EG: +1 0123456789 for US and +44 01234567890 for UK).

 

That should do it. Let me know how it goes after contacting them and if you need anything else. I’ll keep an eye out for your response.
