Version Issue

I have Quickpro Pro 2020. My accountant has Quickbooks 2019. The accountant says he can not open the accountants copy due to version issue. Is there any know solution or work around for this issue?

Version Issue

Welcome to the Community, @Ians9701.

At this time, opening an accountant's copy should match the version of QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

If your accountant has an older version of QBDT, they'll need to upgrade it to a newer version to open the accountant's copy. QBDT depends on the compatibility of the company file.

However, your accountant can still work on the Accountant's Copy using a different version as long as the gap between the versions is just one year.

I'm adding these articles more for information:

Please let me know if you need further clarification about this, or if there's anything else I can do for you. I'll be standing by for your response. Have a great day.

It seems your accountant is using QuickBooks 2019 Pro or Premier edition, NOT QuickBooks 2019 Premier Accountant edition. Ask your accountant to open your data file on trial license of Pro 2020 for the time being.
