It will depend on where you are at now. You can self downgrade from Plus to Essentials and can with help from support downgrade to Simple Start.

There is no evidence at the moment of any company-wide waiver of fees for businesses forced to close their doors due to either self or government-enforced lockdown but:......

You can always cancel entirely and at any point within 365 days re-subscribe.  Your payroll subscription is separate and possibly you might still need it if your kitchen is open for takeout or delivery

There is a resource link at the top of pages here but nothing in it offers any relief from Intuit. You do have to think about payroll and how you pay for last week when no money comes in this week. As long as any employees are fully on W2 they should be eligible for unemploymnet benefits and the waiting periods have been waived or shortened. And supposedly all kinds of loan money from SBA is just waiting for you to apply

Hey there, @wanda8

I can give you some insight into your QuickBooks Online subscription. Yes, that's correct @john-pero. At this time, there isn't an option to reduce a subscription. However, here's  an alternative that may be able to help you out with your specific request:

Canceling your subscription

When you cancel your subscription, you'll still be able to review your data for up to a year but you won't be able to add, delete, or edit the information until you resubscribe to the account. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon in the top right-hand corner.
  2. Under "Your Company," pick Account and Settings
  3. Select the Billing and Subscription tab in the left-hand menu bar.
  4. In the QuickBooks section, press Cancel Subscription
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the cancellation.

Let me know if this helps. I want to make sure that your concerns are addressed. Have a wonderful Tuesday!
