We track 'locations' in invoices / bills, and it reflects in our p&l by location report. Now we want to re-name these locations. How to rename the existing locations?

To help you track your transactions more smoothly in QuickBooks Online (QBO), David60, let's rename the existing location. I'll guide you with the necessary steps.

Before we proceed, location tracking is available exclusively for QBO Plus and Advanced. And allows you to categorize data across different company locations, offices, regions, outlets, or departments. This feature enables you to view and group deposits by location.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Setting icon.
  2. Choose All lists, and pick Locations.
  3. Select the existing location.
  4. From the dropdown arrow select Edit in the action column.
  5. After editing, click Save.
