We want to unsubscribe temporarily. Please guide us on how to do this?

I'm here to share some information when canceling your QuickBooks account, faithfilledfello.

The option to temporarily unsubscribe to QuickBooks Online or Online payroll isn't available. It will be canceled permanently.

 However, you'll still have read-only access to it for a year. If you decide to subscribe again within that certain period, you'll have to update your credit card information.

If you subscribe after a year you've canceled the account, you can no longer access it. You'll have to start a new one and manually enter the transactions.

Here's how to cancel:

For QuickBooks Online standalone:

1. Click the Gear icon, and then select Account and Settings.
2. Go to the Billing & Subscription tab.
3. Click Cancel subscription in the QuickBooks section.
4. Select Continue to cancel, and then select Continue to cancel.
5. Fill out the required fields.
6. Click Submit and cancel subscription.
7. Select Got it.

Then, for QuickBooks Online Payroll:

1. Go to the Billing Subscription tab.
2. Select Cancel in the Payroll section.
3. Select Continue to cancel.
4. Complete the survey, and then click Cancel Payroll Service.

Once canceled, you'll receive a confirmation email about the cancellation.
