When a Time Tracking User clicks "Go to report," is there a way to have a custom report run rather than Time Activities by Employee Detail Report?

This is absolutely a quality of life question, but I would like to eliminate a Time Tracking User needing to change the period and grouping when they run the report. Thanks for the help

Hi there, @Anonymous.

Glad to have you here in the Community. I'm here to help share some information about changing the Time Tracking User access on your QuickBooks Online.

If you're referring to changing your Time Tracking User's access so they can view custom reports aside from the Time Activities by Employee Detail Report, then this is possible by editing their accesses.

On the other hand, a QuickBooks user whose access is only limited for Time Tracking can only view and make changes on the said page. However, if you're referring to eliminating a user's access for Time Tracking, you can do this by removing the user's access on your QuickBooks.

Here are some great references about the time tracking access and reports in QuickBooks Online that you can check out:

These information should get you moving today.

Should you have questions about a Time Tracking User, or other QuickBooks related things, please let me know by leaving a reply below. I'll make sure to get back to you as soon as I can. Have a nice day.
