When I export my products to excel, several products have an absurdly smaller amount than shown in quickbooks online, what could be happening?

I can provide the steps on how to correct the number of products after importing them to QuickBooks Online (QBO), s4-mintess-coms4-mintess-com.

Sometimes you might discover that you have either more or fewer of an item than QuickBooks shows. You can manually adjust an item's quantity when you track inventory. Doing this will match what you actually have in stock.

Let me show you how:

1. Click + New.
2. Select Inventory Qty Adjustment.
3. Enter the Adjustment Date.
4. In the Inventory adjustment account drop-down, select the appropriate account.
5. Select the products in the Product field. The description and current quantity on hand auto-populate.
6. For each item, enter either a new quantity or a change in quantity.
7. In the Memo field, enter the details about the adjustment.
8. When you're done, click Save and close.
   
   

When you save the inventory adjustment, QBO automatically records appropriate adjustments to your stock Asset and Cost of Goods Sold (under stock Shrinkage) accounts.

Be very careful editing inventory adjustment entries. This can greatly impact your accounting. If you're not sure if you should do this, reach out to your accountant.
