Where do i find a check book ledger?

Hello, in QBO it's located in the chart of accounts. Go to the lefthand side black toolbar and look for Accounting hover your cursor over that and it will reveal the chart of accounts which you should select. Once in the chart of account you will see the bank account you linked to QBO. To the right-hand side of the bank name, you will see the phrase view register aka your ledger. Click on the view register phrase and you will be in your ledger.  All the best.

Where do i find a check book ledger?

Hello edsmithdds!

In addition to ThatBkkpr, we can also use the General Ledger report in QuickBooks. We can add the Debit and Credit columns to it, and filter your checking account. I'll walk you through the steps.

  1. Go to Reports and search for General Ledger.
  2. Select the report name from the result.
  3. Click the small Gear icon just above the report.
  4. Place a checkmark in the Debit and Credit columns.
  5. Click on Customize and expand the Filter section.
  6. In the Distribution account drop list, select your checking account.
  7. Choose Run Report.

You can also click on Save Customization to add this report to your list of Custom Reports. That way, you won't have to customize again when you need the same report in the future.

If there's anything that I can help you with, please don't hesitate to go back to this thread.
